MEGOFAN Field Service

In-house & On-site Dynamic Balancing

Precision balancing that reduces vibration at the source and protects bearing and housing life.

Imbalance in fans, rotors, impellers, and rotating equipment does more than create noise and vibration; it increases the risk of bearing failure, coupling stress, energy loss, and unplanned downtime. MEGOFAN performs dynamic balancing in the workshop with SCHENCK balancing machines and on site with portable measurement equipment to help equipment run smoother, more efficiently, and more reliably.

Measurement points and operating speed

Vibration values before and after balancing

Applied correction weights

When You See These Signs

  • Increasing vibration on the fan or motor side
  • Bearings heating up or failing earlier than expected
  • Loosening on body, base frame, or duct connections
  • Mechanical noise that rises with speed
  • Equipment not returning to smooth operation after maintenance

Customer Benefits

  • Reduced vibration and mechanical noise
  • Longer bearing, housing, and coupling life
  • Lower risk of unplanned downtime
  • Reduced energy losses and mechanical stress
  • Maintenance decisions become measurement-based

How We Apply It

01

Initial Check

Operating conditions, speed, bearing condition, and connections are reviewed.

02

Vibration Measurement

Measurements are taken from suitable points; amplitude, phase, and frequency behavior are evaluated.

03

Correction Weight

The correction point and weight are calculated according to the imbalance source.

04

Verification

Measurements are repeated after balancing and the vibration improvement is confirmed.
