Operating Principle

The axial impeller accelerates air along its axis, so the flow remains approximately parallel to the shaft from inlet to outlet. This arrangement moves high airflow through a compact duct section.

Selection and Installation

Determine the duty point from airflow, total pressure, and the actual system resistance curve.
Elbows, dampers, or obstructions near the inlet can disturb flow and affect airflow, sound, and vibration.
Select straight duct length, inlet cone, counterflange, flexible connection, and guards for the installation.
Include medium temperature, density, humidity, corrosion, and particle content in material and motor selection.
